Questions about Supreme Maps Pro

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

Only for the Google Map module. The Leaflet Map module uses OpenStreetMap tiles and needs no API key at all.

Can visitors filter the map by location group?

Yes. Turn on Dynamic Markers, then enable the Group Filter. Visitors can switch between your location groups using pills above the map, a floating bar, a sidebar list with every location, a bottom dock or a dropdown. Choose single or multiple selection, show group colours and counts, and style it in the Divi builder. It works on both the Google Map and Leaflet Map modules.

Can visitors get directions?

Yes, with the Google Map module. Each marker can show a Get directions button, and a directions panel lets visitors type their starting point.

How do I add hundreds of locations?

Import them. Upload a CSV or JSON file with a title, latitude and longitude per row. Supreme Maps Pro previews the file, then imports in batches of 25 so large lists do not time out.

Can I show a Divi layout inside a marker popup?

Yes. A marker popup can show text or a layout from your Divi Library, so it can hold images, buttons and contact details.

Can I style the map to match my brand?

Yes. Google maps come with preset styles and accept a custom JSON style. Leaflet maps use OpenStreetMap tiles, and markers, popups and clusters are styled in the Divi Design tab.

Does it work with WPML?

Yes. Supreme Maps Pro is WPML compatible, so marker titles and popups can be translated.

Which map styles are included?

The Google Map module has six preset styles (Blue Water, Lemon Tree, Unsaturated Browns, Holiday, Flat Map and Avocado World) plus a Custom option where you paste any JSON map style. You can also switch between Roadmap, Satellite, Hybrid and Terrain.

What can a marker popup show?

On both modules a popup shows a title and text. On the Google Map module a marker can also load a layout from your Divi Library, or open an image, a video or a web page (iFrame) in a lightbox.

Can I animate the map popups?

Yes, on the Google Map module. Popups can open with one of 47 animate.css effects, including bounce, pulse, tada, flipInX and zoomIn. On both modules you can use your own marker image or a Divi icon.

Will Supreme Maps Pro slow down my site?

No. Dynamic CSS loads the map styles only on pages that use a map, and you can switch off the Google Map or Leaflet Map module you do not use.
